RANDOM PAD

RANDOM PAD

RANDOM PAD

(OP)
Hi all,
somehow my manager keeps ending up with a random pad at the end of his models that he is not putting there. can anyone tell my why this is happening and how to stop it? thanks

RE: RANDOM PAD

A picture of the model and the model tree would help. Maybe there's a pad feature somewhere in the modeling tree that's unintentional.

RE: RANDOM PAD

This can happen when the the Drag/Drop for Copy/Paste functionality is enabled. When a user clicks and drags the background, either in Sketcher or just when browsing the model it then duplicates that base feature as the last feature in the tree. There is an option to disable this in Tools > Options, I think that it is located on the first page but I cannot remember off the top of my head.

RE: RANDOM PAD

Thanks Doug. I have the same problem every once in awhile, and always assumed it was just my sloppy mouse clicks that was duplicating a feature.
