Is there a free software for batch converting?

Is there a free software for batch converting?

Is there a free software for batch converting?

(OP)
Hey,

I think this has been posted before but i can't seem to find the post, so hope someone can direct me to it or answer this post ;D

I am using ACAD 14 in my office but most of my other collegues are using ACAD LT95 (same format as ACAD13). Its becoming a tiresome process to remembver to save my files as ACAD13 files, or face having to convert them when ever someone else wants to access them.

Was wondering if there is a simple free software which could do batch converting of the autocad files from ACAD 14 to ACAD 13 or more?

Thanks

Search one of the lisp routine sites like http://www.caddepot.com/
or other lisp sites.

How many files are trying to convert?
A whole directory of drawings or just a few?
Local Network installation? Are converted files
saved on same directory (overwrite original files)
or different directory?

I have a compiled lisp routine for batch
conversion of A2K drawings to R14 in a local
drive installation. I can tweak this routine
to be generic.

Let me know if you want info/particulars.

Daniel,

I'm not sure about 14 but 2002 has the option to always save as an earlier version.  It's found in the options dialog box under the Open and Save tab.  Just set it to save as r13.

Yup,

Got to Caddepot.com and get a free copy. Do a search on the keyword "AHA" and it will find it.
