Hi folks,
I got a doubt in healing in catia.what is the meaning of distance objective in catia healing.Does it mean that gaps exist even after healing the geometries? please clarify.

RE: Distance objective in healing

My understanding of the Healing command is it modifies both adjacent surfaces in order to make them continguous in C1,C2,C3. The distance is the maximum amount of deviation of the surfaces.

For example, if there are two planar surfaces with a small gap between them, and they cannot be Joined. Healing will eliminate the gap, but the surfaces will no longer be planar.
