Power transmission loss in a side branch orifice

Power transmission loss in a side branch orifice

(OP)
I have found an equation for the expected power transmission loss as a function of frequency in the presence of a side orifice at this British site: http://www.diracdelta.co.uk/science/source.html#.W.... However, I have been unable to confirm this equation by further research and it provides no reference for itself. Can you direct me to another source for this equation? Thank you.

RE: Power transmission loss in a side branch orifice

The link did not go directly to the equation. It said:

Sorry the following page: /science/source.html is not available on our server.

please use our A to Z Index on the Science and Engineering Encyclopedia

Can you provide more detail/direction?

Good luck,
