Viscoelasticity using prony series. WarnElemDistorted Error: whenever I run the model.

(OP)
I am trying to model the viscoelastic response of a cushion (foam material). I had defined the density, elasticity and viscoelasticity (using prony series). Also, I had defined the pressure and boundary condition. However, every time I run the model I get the error "1867 elements are distorted. Either the isoparametric angles are out of the suggested limits or the triangular or tetrahedral quality measure is bad. The elements have been identified in element set WarnElemDistorted".

I had tried to verify the mesh and tried to eliminate WarnElemDistorted from the element set but nothing appear to be working.

Could somebody assist me solving this issue, as it is very urgent please?
I can send the files for checking.

Thank you very much in advance

RE: Viscoelasticity using prony series. WarnElemDistorted Error: whenever I run the model.

As stated in the error message, the solver creates an element set "WarnElemDistorted". You can open the odb and highlight this set to see what's happening to cause the elements to distort so badly. You might just need to adjust your mesh in this region or it might be that your model is not behaving as expected.
