Plotting the stress at integration points

Plotting the stress at integration points

Plotting the stress at integration points

(OP)
Hello,

I am running a static general analysis to determine the plastic behaviour of a double fixed steel beam. How could I obtain the stress distribution on the cross-section, if I have defined a number of 11 section points? I want to create a graphical representation with the elasto-plastic stress distribution and I can only obtain the result at SP1 and SP11.

RE: Plotting the stress at integration points

Default field output is not written at every section point. You have to modify the output request to get results at all points written into the .odb.
