Catia top level bom structure

Catia top level bom structure

(OP)
Hello everybody.

I have a question regarding bom creation.
I saw that i can change bom type in options/standards/drafting/bom and there is a window with "type" value. There is "summarized" and "top level".
So i was wondering how to change it? I heard that i have to run catia in admin mode but i asked our IT for help and they said that this option is greyed for them too.
I was trying to edit .xml files with this properties but i wasn't sure how to do it so i forgot about this idea.

But now i am in need of this top level bom again, any ideas how to archieve it? (I want my bom to show just main subassemblys, not every part in mine assembly).
Anyway this is really strange, this option is really hidden and hard to find. Has anyone got any idea or work around about this problem?

RE: Catia top level bom structure

check online doc about running catia in admin mode... it is not IT admin
