Bolster Placement

(OP)
On what centers should bolsters be placed under 6x6 W1.4 welded wire fabric?

RE: Bolster Placement

Some good recommendations here: Link. I'm not sure if there are actually any hard and fast rules unless they show up in the project specifications. Might be worth a quick call to WRI. If anybody knows, it'll be them.

I like to debate structural engineering theory -- a lot. If I challenge you on something, know that I'm doing so because I respect your opinion enough to either change it or adopt it.

RE: Bolster Placement

The ideal answer will also depend on the placing crew and their habits and their weight.

My observations of placing crews concludes that they have little, if any, respect for the condition of WWR after the concrete has been placed and screeded.
