Coupling Guard

Coupling Guard

(OP)
Dear all,

Based on ANSI/ASME B73.1 Specification for Horizontal End Suction Centrifugal Pumps for Chemical Process, In Safety Guards part, it is stated that "All guards shall meet the performance criteria of ANSI B11.19".

My problem is, I couldn't find ANSI B11.19 standard or is there any similar standard to ANSI B11.19?

And my main concern is, how do we decide material used for the coupling guard, is there any minimum material for the coupling guard for ANSI/ASME B73.1 centrifugal pump?

Thanks for the help!
