Now what, CATIA to Opel?

Now what, CATIA to Opel?

Now what, CATIA to Opel?

Now that the buying of Opel to PSA from General Motors, is done, will Opel change their cad system from NX to CATIA, for a better information exchange between all companies in PSA, or they will remain in NX. In past we have seen Nissan remain in NX wile Renault works in CATIA. What do you think?

RE: Now what, CATIA to Opel?

This is just a guess, but since PSA is French and so is Dassault I think there is some justification for a switch. I suppose it depends how much integration PSA wants between Opel and their other brands. DS is another automotive brand in the PSA group - do they already utilize CATIA?

Yes they use. DS born from Citroën. They started from some models of Citroën.
