Export Assosiated Files

Export Assosiated Files

Export Assosiated Files

(OP)
Dear all,

i'm have a little problem in understanding the context in the Customer default text. It says:

"Export assosiated files determines whether or not files associated to part files will be exported from the Teamcenter database to a local directory when a part file is saved". So when i deactivate the option i still didn't see any effect of that in the file export that i made.

To begin with, what is actually meant by the assosiated files? and how can i see if the effect when i deactivate the option?

Thanks

RE: Export Assosiated Files

Its mean that all the spec files also be
Exported to the local folder where the part
is exported.

RE: Export Assosiated Files

Correction

When you chose file export Assembly
On the dialogue that open one of the tabs
Say associated files and there a list
Of files types that also will be exported
with the Assembly part that you export.
