Type Filter Keyboard Shortcut

Type Filter Keyboard Shortcut

(OP)
I'd like to make a keyboard shortcut that sets the "Type Filter" dropdown to "Bodies". So that I could press a key (e.g.: Shift+B), and now I am only able to select bodies. Is this possible?

I see options for the "Selection Priority Drop-down" in the Customize Keyboard Categories list, but this doesn't seem to do what I want.

RE: Type Filter Keyboard Shortcut

Shift+B will do that.

Go to Menu -> Edit -> Selection. You will see shortcuts for Top Selection Priority there.

RE: Type Filter Keyboard Shortcut

Selection Priority is not the same as Type filter,
Selection Priority means that when you select/ preselect, in the selection list, "bodies" will be "before" other things like edges or faces etc.

It does almost what's requested but it does not prevent selection of other types of objects.

Maybe you can modify one of the menufiles to access the selection types.
