Projecting (or forming) sheet metal feature onto a solid

Projecting (or forming) sheet metal feature onto a solid

(OP)
Hello

I have a sheet metal piece that is not formed to assembly. It is a bracket that will sit on a bend of a tube. Is there any function in CATIA that would allow me to form that sheet metal piece onto that tube? It would take a long time to model in GSD and would not be accurate.

Thanks.

RE: Projecting (or forming) sheet metal feature onto a solid

As far as I know there is no such function in SM. SM aerospace is based on surfacing. Upload an image.

Regards,
Jenia Ladkov
