welding procedure reducer eccentric

welding procedure reducer eccentric

welding procedure reducer eccentric

(OP)
Good afternoon

I currently have two reducers eccentric 48 x 40 inches and then a reducer eccentric 40 x 30 inches.

My question is which welding procedure I use whereas both eccentric holdouts have longitudinal seams.

Thank you friends

RE: welding procedure reducer eccentric

Are you asking - can I weld the reducers together with the seams lined up?

What is your design/fabrication code?

Hi, Kevin

Do I apply solder in the eccentric reductions with regardless of axial seam them or can I add a nipple?

In this case add the nipple would be violating a rule?

I'm using ASME B31.3
regards

RE: welding procedure reducer eccentric

Do you mean 48x40 conc reducer -> 40x30 ecc reducer or 48x40 conc reducer->40 pup pipe piece-> 40x30 ecc reducer?

(In spanish, "solder" translates as "welding". Is that what you mean?)
