Associate two or more sketches

Associate two or more sketches

Associate two or more sketches

(OP)
Hello Guys,

can two different sketches be associated/constrain with each other. So that if I move start point of a line in sketch(1), the sketch(2) also move along with the that point.

I am using NX9

Thanks in advance.
Surinder

RE: Associate two or more sketches

Yes.

As an example on the xy plane create the first sketch and draw a circle and finish the first sketch.
next on the xy plane create the second sketch and draw a line now do a coincident constraint
between the end point of the line and the center point of the circle (use in work part only intent)
and finish the second sketch.

Now go to the first sketch and drag move the circle and the line will also move. (use update to see the moving)
