RE: pressure rating

Question isn't phrased well.

Max pressure for a class 300 material group 1.1 flange to ASME B 16.5 is indeed 740 psig between -20 to 100F

"what is maximum pressure class rating" isn't clear what you're asking.

I don't think slip on flanges are not normally recommended above class 300 if that's what you mean, but they make them in theory up to class 2500

RE: pressure rating

I've already stated what the maximum pressure is above

"Max pressure for a class 300 material group 1.1 flange to ASME B 16.5 is 740 psig between -20 to 100F"

This is Max working pressure. ASME B 16.5 flanges are good for a hydrotest of 1.5 times this.

There is no difference whether it's a weld neck or slip on flange when it comes to pressure rating.

This is freely available information and I would recommend you obtain a copy of ASME B 16.5 for more information.

Yes , thanks for confirming.

RE: pressure rating

Yes, a 300# slip on flange is still a 300# flange and has the same rating as any other 300# flange- weld neck, lap joint, blind etc.
