Aluminum Equivalent to "Handbook of Comparative World Steel Standards" by Bringas?

Aluminum Equivalent to "Handbook of Comparative World Steel Standards" by Bringas?

Does anyone know of a document (book, article, website, etc.) that is similar to Bringas' "Handbook of Comparative World Steel Standards" but covers aluminum alloys?

https://www.amazon.com/Handbook-Comparative-World-...

We're looking for a way to find equivalents to aluminum grades SAE 35 and AA 443.0 but in European (particularly French) standards.

Yhea, we saw that previously but it's not quite what we're looking for because it doesn't cover SAE 35, AA 443.0, or Alcoa 43. These are old grades we're trying to find some authority similar to Bringas that provides a comparable EN grade.

RE: Aluminum Equivalent to "Handbook of Comparative World Steel Standards" by Bringas?

AA 443.0 sand casting is listed as equivalent to ISO 3522 AlSi5 in the ASM Worldwide Guide to Equivalent Nonferrous Metals and Alloys, a very useful reference to have if these types of questions are common for you. Nothing in either this book or on a Google search regarding SAE 35 or Alcoa 43.

My point was the TEAL document has valuable contact information so I would suggest you contact the French organization for specific information.

The Aluminum Association Aluminum standards and data 2013, TABLE 1.2 Foreign Alloy Designations and Similar AA Alloys

Metallic Materials Specification Handbook, 4th-Ed, Robert Ross, ISBN 0412369400 ???

ASM Specialty Handbook: Aluminum and Aluminum Alloys, ISBN 978-0-87170-496-2 ???
