any experience with the best type of pump and pump material to pump powered activated carbon slurry at a water treatment plant??

RE: PAC slurry pumping

I've used progressing cavity pumps and screw conveyors in the past. Both worked fine. Materials 321 SS, nitrile rubber for the PC pump, SS for the conveyor.

RE: PAC slurry pumping

Peristaltic positive displacement pumps should handle the job fine.

Materials as per previous post.

Be careful with your dosing lines as the slurry is very abbrasive.  We are installing PVC pipes with SS bends on the project I am currently commissioning.
