How to model this? RC frames and seismic loads

How to model this? RC frames and seismic loads

How to model this? RC frames and seismic loads

(OP)
I have a building which is constructed as RC frames.

Frame "1" is connected to frame "2" only by wooden roof.
Frame "2" in connected to the frame "3" by the wooden roof and AT THE END by concrete slab and concrete walls

So Im wondering how to model this for seismic analysis?

Can I analyze FRAME "1" as individual construction even thou it is connected to the rest of construction by wooden roof?
I think i can designed it to a seismic load (lets say in X direction) which acts only in plane (frames plane)- longitudinally.
I wouldn consider Y direction of seismic load because the frame "1" is connected (by wooden roof)to frame "2" which is far more rigid in this direction so it will take on the majority of seismic load in Y direction.

What about the rest of construction? there will be torsion effect because the building has concrete walls and a slab at very end?

I cant consider wooden roof as diaphragm, but i cant neglect its effect either? right?

RE: How to model this? RC frames and seismic loads

I think 'wooden roof' shouldnt be assumed as diaphragm at all.

RE: How to model this? RC frames and seismic loads

Base shear method may be used in this structure. Two things in the calculation, 1. assume and design the wood roof is rigid diaphgragm; 2 seismic load should be taken by frame 3 and the walls at building ends.
