What's the best way to extend the depth of a existing hole to a certain amount?

What's the best way to extend the depth of a existing hole to a certain amount?

(OP)
Currently I measure the current distance (ie 1.5), copy the number from the info box, then use pull face or something similar. Say I want a 2 inch deep hole. Then I would pull face, and use the expression 2-1.5 to get the extra .5" to make the 2" deep hole. Makes sense?

There's gotta be a better way
thanks in advance

If the Hole is a true feature, just edit its parameters. If not, then the approach that you're using is about as good as it gets.
