i am looking for means or ways to remove the HVOF coating. Any suggestion would be of great help.

On what substrate?

on 13-4 Cr Ni SS plate.

IF the coating is of poor quality then shot blasting may remove it.
If it is a good coating with good surface prep then grinding is about the only way to get it off.

What Ed said. The Cr in your powder mix makes a chemical etch difficult (likely to etch the substrate).

is it advisable to heat up to 400 Degree and soak for 2-3 hours and remove my chipping?
