Metric Thread Tolerance
Metric Thread Tolerance
(OP)
Hi,
From a previous thread (http://www.eng-tips.com/viewthread.cfm?qid=126150#), we understand that classes of Unified Inch Screw Threads can be interchanged; however, does anyone know if metric threads can also be interchanged? If so, how?
I know that Metric Screw Threads are not as straight forward with many tolerances (normal, tighter, no allowance); but I was wondering if anyone has information I can refer to and understand which classes can be interchanged without interference, etc.
Thanks
