NX10 Problems Extruding a Divide Face

NX10 Problems Extruding a Divide Face

NX10 Problems Extruding a Divide Face

(OP)
Hi, I am trying to extrude a divide face as a solid, but for some reason that I don't know NX extudes it as a sheet.
I had been looking a solution but I can´t find it. I am not sure if the problem is the direction vector.
I know that there are many different ways to achive what I am trying to do but I had been doing by this method for serveral weeks until today. If someone know how to fix it, I will be very greatful.
I attached a picture to show you what I am trying to do.

RE: NX10 Problems Extruding a Divide Face

Since you are extruding a non-planar contour, you need to "define" how the shape should be inside that contour.
If you use the selection method ( The Curve Rule) "face edges", NX will use the face from the target as the shape inside the selected contour.

"Sheet edges" have the same effect but on Sheet bodies.

Regards,
Tomas

Thank you very very very much Tomas!!!
Now it works just fine!

Not sure what the goal is, but you could do it with synchronous modeling as well.
