NX 9.0 "The initial secondary number must only be a letter."

NX 9.0 "The initial secondary number must only be a letter."

NX 9.0 "The initial secondary number must only be a letter."

(OP)
I recently got a new laptop at work and my preferences have changed. When I try to change them back I keep getting the following error after clicking 'apply'. "The initial secondary number must only be a letter." Afterwards the setting changes back to default. I have access to change my customer defaults, but I need to change these preferences.

Anyone have any ideas what this error means?

RE: NX 9.0 "The initial secondary number must only be a letter."

I have seen the message but do not remember what it was....
What NX version ?
You need to find the NX logfile and either try find the reason from it yourself, or copy the final say 2 pages and upload here.
( the initial part of the syslog contains some info on your licensefile etc so if you want privacy do not upload the entire log.
the error is somewhere among the last things that happens in the logfile.

Pre NX9 Help- NX logfile
NX9 later File - Help - NX logfile

The only "initial secondary number" that I know of is in regards to the drawing sheet. The option can be found in the customer defaults -> Drafting -> drawing -> general section.
