LRFD Concrete bridge pier coping beam design considerations

(OP)
Good day!

I have to design a portal type coping beam for railway using LRFD 2012 as basis for design. The railway would run above the piers and there's road below.
I would like to know what are the design considerations for designing the coping, and what forces should be used for the design of the 2 columns supporting the coping beam?
It would be great if you can send a link to a reference with step by step guide.

Thank you very much! <3 <3 :* :*
