thread561-64753: Displaying Weight Properties of Part in Drafting?

Hello
I am using Nx.9.0 connected to Teamcenter, I am trying to show the mass of total assembly in the drafting but always it shows only the mass of the assembly as part and not the weight of the other parts existing inside this assembly, are there any methode to show in the drafting the total weigth for assemly including the parts inside?
Regards.

RE: NX / Showing assembly mass in drafting

Sadly the only solution we have found is to calculate the value manually or to assert the weight of the assembly via advanced weighted management. A nice simple solution would be that there was a summation option for the parts list tables.

Thank you petulf,

but it appears in assemby navigator ,I can see it but not in the attribute ?

RE: NX / Showing assembly mass in drafting

Yup that is right, for assembly nodes it is dynamic and not saved to any mass/weight attribute which is why you have to assert the weight if you want it on the drawing/note/teamcenter.

RE: NX / Showing assembly mass in drafting

If you do Analysis, Measure bodies, with Associative turned on in the model file, attributes will be created, that can be passed to the drawing, and/or Teamcenter.
