ANT: Navigation order - userdefined order & subassemblies

ANT: Navigation order - userdefined order & subassemblies

(OP)
Hi all,

Using NX9, I was looking to see if a userdefined order in ANT of a subassy can be made visible in all parent assembly levels.
From what I see , the created "new order 1" is only visible at the assembly level where it is created, meaning you would have to repeat the reordering on each assembly level.

Is there a way or setting , I am missing?

thanks

Regards,
Ronny

RE: ANT: Navigation order - userdefined order & subassemblies

Is there a good reason to do this ?
You can't do much with the navigator in that aspect.
I know that Wildfire, as a comparison, uses, or can use, the navigator order as "assembly order".

Tomas

Hi Tomas,

I got the question from a colleague who is using it as a visual aid to track assembly sequence for big assemblies
