CATIA V5 R18 Component replacement Macro

CATIA V5 R18 Component replacement Macro

CATIA V5 R18 Component replacement Macro

(OP)
Hello Guys,

Can any of you please help me in creating a Macro, which will replace all the parts/components from the assembly.

Presently I am working on CATIA V5 R18 Assembly which consists of dummy components stored in a separate folder.
I have to manually select each part/component and replace it with newly created part which is stored in another location.
This is consuming most of my day's work as I have to replace around 100-150 parts.

So I need a macro which will replace all the parts (or selected parts) in the assembly to that of newly stored parts in different location.
I am not concerned about Constrains. The new parts will occupy the same location as replaced.

Please help me out.

RE: CATIA V5 R18 Component replacement Macro

is the name of the file the same in folder A and folder B?

like replace folder A\Part 1 with Folder B\Part 1 or the name of the part also change?

by the way it is time to upgrade from R18...
