Overlap/Doc on Second Monitor grayed out

Overlap/Doc on Second Monitor grayed out

(OP)
Hi,

Anyone know why my Overlap on Second Monitor and Doc on Second Monitor options, in the Resource Bar, are grayed out?

I'm pretty excited this functionality was added in NX 10, but for some reason my is grayed out and I cannot figure out why despite looking, seemingly, everywhere.

Thanks,
Sean

RE: Overlap/Doc on Second Monitor grayed out

You are using the new Ribbon interface? (not switched back to Pre NX9 toolbars)

1) I am using the ribbon toolbar's (post-NX 9 interface).

2) Currently, I have my Navigators manually Undocked and placed on the second monitor, so I am connected to two monitors.

This option is available for other users here so I figure it's a setting in Customer Defaults but I haven't had any luck...

I do not think it's a customer default. I have only seen when I left-click the gearwheel in the Resource Bar.
( note, Left-click not Right click.)

Are your monitors "similar" ? ( same resolution etc ?)
I noted that if I have the monitors arranged ( in the Windows "Screen Resolution") dialog on top of each other, the option will not appear. As soon as I move the second monitor to the right or left from the primary , it appears.

Tomas

Ahh.., Toost you're the man,

That seems so weird to me, but you're right - when I reversed the Primary monitor it became selectable...

Thank you!
Sean
