NX9 - VB CODE - Pause for user action

(OP)
We have one group who needs to do something as simple as use the Insert Curve Rectangle action in NX9. But every time he draws a rectangle on the drawing, he then has to change the line color and line type to white/phantom because everyone else creates lines green/solid.

I thought I would create a button for him that will first go into his Object Settings and change the LINE setting to White/Phantom, then initiate the rectangle function and pause, allowing the user to click the two points on the screen to create the rectangle to the size he needs, then after the second click the journal will then resume and cancel the rectangle function and reset the settings so his LINE type is Green/Solid again.

Unfortunately while recording a journal, I cant figure out how to get the user pause to work right. When I play it back, it just makes the same rectangle I made in recording automatically, as if it never paused.

Any help?
