Another existing Bar joist question - 16J6 from 1966

Another existing Bar joist question - 16J6 from 1966

(OP)
The existing warehouse drawings from 1966 tell me it was a 16J6. I want to verify the capacity from the SJI manual of the time.

I have a 1972 SJI manual which tells me 275TL and 224LL at 25'. Does anyone have an older one that would tell me 1966 info?

When I am working on a problem, I never think about beauty but when I have finished, if the solution is not beautiful, I know it is wrong.

Thanks. I didn't realize that these were listed in the steel manuals. I have this one.

Thanks again.

You're welcome. BTW - only the 6th & 7th Editions had joist tables.
