Explosion in ENI Refinery in Italy

Explosion in ENI Refinery in Italy

RE: Explosion in ENI Refinery in Italy

Scary.

My thoughts go out to the workers and their families. People were likely seriously hurt or killed given the size of the fireball.

RE: Explosion in ENI Refinery in Italy

Especially scary when you work in a big petrochemical plant.

I hope it is just a ruined plant and the people there are OK. The rest of it can be replaced and rebuilt.

RE: Explosion in ENI Refinery in Italy

A lot of these plants don't have anybody working inside, near the process, full time. It's usually outside contract maintenance workers that take the hit. Hopefully there was nobody near enough to the explosion to get hurt.
