Transformer History-15/50

(OP)
By today evening (Indian Standard Time) I will be completing 50 years in Transformer Industry. I had never been away from the factory for more than two weeks all these years. Nothing great or anything to crow over. Only sharing the nostalgia of being a small part of great changes happened all around in power industry for half a century. I was not working, but enjoying the years by trying to understand the intricacies of power products especially the transformer engineering.
Ten years back, I prepared a paper, as attached, for a local journal narrating the evolution of transformer technology in India. Probably this is same all over the world and transformer buffs may like it.
I joined this forum in 2001, completing 15 years. Visiting almost every day, I learnt a lot from the prolific contributors of this forum. I recommended this forum for hundreds of youngsters. I have to thank all experts who bore with my ignorance and patiently explained to my queries. I can see the twilight in front of me. This is a thanksgiving to all. Hope administrators will not consider the posting as inappropriate.

I bet you've seen some interesting evolution in the transformers in your 50 years on the front.
