export assembly outside TC and rename certain files

export assembly outside TC and rename certain files

(OP)
Hello,
I want to export an assembly outside TC. I have to rename a bunch of files while exporting.
I have an excel list with in 1 column the original filename and in the other the new filename.
I was told to use export_ug.exe. I'm stuck at where to add the excel file.

Other method is the command "export outside TC"in NX. Which I preferred.
There I have the same problem, I can set naming exceptions, but then I have to add them one by one.
Does somebody know how to add a list for renaming several files?
Thank you.

Found it by myself.
Use file, export assembly outside TC
First you have to create a logfile while doing a dryrun.
Change the logfile.
Next:
For files to be renamed: action: USER_NAME instead of DEFAULT_NAMING and change the filename/description etc.

next: File export assembly outside TC, in tab "Log" load and apply existing logfile to rename files.

It should be possible with ug_export.bat, but I don't know if you can use the same logfile.

I use ugmanager_clone for exporting from Teamcenter and this can use the same logfile.
The settings I use are %UGII_BASE_DIR%\Ugmanager\ugmanager_clone -pim=yes -o=export -default_n=autotranslate -copy_a=no -u=username -p=password -s=yourpath\export.clone
