Welding inspection program

Welding inspection program

Welding inspection program

(OP)
i have been searching for years for a good inspection software package that will allow me to make notes on drawing PDFs and link progress inspection pictures to them. The software has to be cloud based so that inspections at job sites can be linked to other team members. Our customers always want "As Built" drawing notes with actual dimensions, welder numbers etc noted. I am not interested in re-writing all of our welding procedure so they fit into most of the welding software programs that are out there. Since our Jobs are split between ASME and CWB i only need the procedure and welders number and do not want to link it to anything else. Some of the construction industry software such as Plan Grid and Field Wire are very similar but are not for welding. Anyone have any suggestions.

RE: Welding inspection program

I used a demo of some software at http://smartweldingmanager.com/ that seemed promising.

I have always just created my own Access Database application however that method doesn't lend itself to shared data over the internet. I have created applications for Pharm. and Power that were shared over a network but never anything through the internet.

I think the software in the link above is about the closest there is now.

Hope this helps and have a great day.
