Deformable Part

Deformable Part

Deformable Part

(OP)
I am working in NX 9.

I am trying to make a part containing three solids (a prox sensor and two nuts) into a deformable part such that I can constrain the barrel prox and then deform the hex nuts to their proper position.

John Baker did a similar deformable part in this thread: thread561-355787: Expression to drive Movable Jaw on Library vise file

When I try to create the deformation, or when I try to recreate what John did in his vice, I get a series of references that do not appear in John's original vice file, and I can't figure out how to deal with these to get my deform feature to work. Are the references a new feature since the original thread?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thank you!

Matt

RE: Deformable Part

Hi Matt,
Be sure to select all features needed to create your deformable part.
