I'm trying to utilize a Sum equation in a general table
In my table I have a column with 5 rows, I typed values into each cell in the column. Immediatelt below in the 6th row I am trying to use the Sum equation for the 5 cells above with no luck. It shows the Sum equation formula in the cell but does not apply the Sum function.
Any help is appreciated.

Tom

What was the solution?

RE: Using the Sum equation in a general table

Looks like you have to type the cells being summed manually. e.g. =SUM(B1:B3)
