Dear engineers,

I am creating a comparisson between load testing requirement for mechanical handling equipment listed in different standards. The idea is to choose the best standard and incorporate it in our company specifications.

I am now analysing the British Standards. I found BS 2853 for design and testing of runway beams however I couldn't find anything similar for pad eyes.

Does any body know where can I find a British Standard for design and testing of pad eyes?

Thanks in advance for your comments.

Best regards,
Neves
