(OP)
I need to support equipment from the underside of a hollowcore precast concrete roof.

The vendor must support their equipment from P1000 Unistrut.

The Unistrut engineering is by General Contractor.

The General Contractor hired us to do the engineering.

I've never sized Unistrut.

Does anyone have a resource for design values and accommodating design information?

How does Unistrut get fastened to the precast plank?

How does the vendor support their equipment from the Unistrut?

I'm currently searching the internet and the vendor has promised to send details of what they have done in the past. We are all doing what we can to expedite this ASAP.

Can anyone assist in this expedition by providing answers to the above?

Thank you!

I like to debate structural engineering theory -- a lot. If I challenge you on something, know that I'm doing so because I respect your opinion enough to either change it or adopt it.
