ANSYS RIGID DYNAMICS

ANSYS RIGID DYNAMICS

ANSYS RIGID DYNAMICS

(OP)
Hi,
I'm working on an assembly in suite Rigid Dynamics in Workbench suite of Ansys.
In suite Rigid Dynamics, being rigid members in connections i've set the simulation with only joint and springs connections(altough the simulation that I've set in Static Analyses is NonLinear). Should I use both the "Joint" constraints both "Contacts" together?
The problem is that I get the error screen : " A general failure occuring during the simulation process" in Association "Project>Model>Transient>Solution".
In this path I set only TOTAL VELOCITY in order to find local velocity of my assembly.
What could be the error?

RE: ANSYS RIGID DYNAMICS

Consider trying to fix your model. Especially your model should be fixed reverse side of where force coming.
And you could use contaacts and joint together or seperately, depends on your model.
