Lattice structure design

I'm getting in into 3D printing of implants and currently doing searches regarding lattice structure design inside Catia V5.
Seems like the only way to go is Power Copy. This process takes a lot of time and energy.

Any idea on how this can be done within Catia V5 will be greatly appreciated.

Jenia Ladkov

Hi,
It's not released yet. This will be released like in two weeks I hope. BTW we use Catia V5.

RE: Lattice structure design

Forget it in CATIA V5.

That is why I'm searching for a solution/idea. I have several ideas how to create simple lattice structure (patterns and trim, trim and trim pc) but this also takes time and computer resources.

http://3dexperiencelab.3ds.com/ watch the full background video, I can see some geometry very close to what you are looking for... You can then contact the Lab to get more info.

I know it's 3DX but it does not mean modeling could not be done in V5...
