NX9 Parts list query- Parts list grouping parts

NX9 Parts list query- Parts list grouping parts

NX9 Parts list query- Parts list grouping parts

(OP)
So Im setting up my parts list template in NX using attributes. I just want a simple parts list with ref no, material & qty. I have sorted this out easily enough although the problem I am having is that if I have more than one part made of the same material it groups the materials together and increases the qty . Example.
Assembly has 3 parts, 1 steel part and 2 plastic parts. The two plastic parts are different shapes but instead of my parts list showing 3 items it shows 2 , ref 1 steel qty 1 off and ref 2 plastic qty 2 off
What I want is ref 1 steel qty 1 off, ref 2 plastic qty 1 off, ref 3 plastic qty 1 off

Any ideas of how I can stop the parts list grouping the parts together?

RE: NX9 Parts list query- Parts list grouping parts

The key field is what determines the grouping (i.e the quantity).
You need the designate the column that defines different parts as the key field.

Thanks so much. Simple when you know what you're doing.
