Electronic chlorine metering pumps

Electronic chlorine metering pumps

Electronic chlorine metering pumps

(OP)
Need sugestions concering manufacturers / models of electronic feed pumps to supply chlorine treatment on a small public water supply system. Must meet ANSI/NSF Standard 61 for Drinking Water System Components.

Require pump with genral ratings of:

Max capacity: 5-10 GPD
Max Pressure: 250 psi

RE: Electronic chlorine metering pumps

ReelBG,

Unfortunately while there are many quality manufacturers of metering pumps your selection for NSF 61 approval is limited.

LMI is the only manufacturer that has that approval.  For your application an 'A' series pump will be fine.  Make sure you request a de-gassing valve to prevent the pump from locking up.

You could find more information on this pump at www.panner.com

Glenn:  There are a lot of NSF61 approved Chem Feed pumps.  You can also substitute UL since there is an agreement with the EPA to share this classification between the two testing agencies.  Another manufacturer that comes to mind is called PULSAFEEDER.  The make units in those low flow ranges and more importantly they have replacement parts available and great company service.

Try ProMinent Pumps.  Wide range of flows, very reliable and easy to rebuild.  I have used them for years.
