fix length spline in NX10?

fix length spline in NX10?

fix length spline in NX10?

Is it possible to make bridge spline of fixed length in NX10? So if I move endpoints length will be same.
I tried spline path in routing electrical, but it does not update endpoint positions properly when I move them. So if there is something that have good update like bridge curve and fixed legth like spline path in routing electrical it would solve my problem.

RE: fix length spline in NX10?

Hello,

Project the bridge curve in the new sketch and fix the end points of the Bridge curve may help?

No, I need length to be fixed while I can move ends, so if Imake deformable object from it, ... for example if I make wire that is 200mm it will be 200mm no matter how i move wire ends (inside limit of 200mm).

RE: fix length spline in NX10?

The Routing module (which specializes in things like the 200mm wire you're describing and everything to which that wire needs to connect) has functionality for fixed-length spline paths.

The Bridge Curve function in Modeling does not have this capability.
