Dear friends;

I want to model following coil, although its 3 days that I am toiling away on modeling this 3d shape,but I have not any breakthrough.
can you help me by suggesting a modeling strategy for this coil in Solidworks?
any help and comments are really appreciated.

3d sketch and swept solid should handle this quite simply.

Dear Drafting man special thanks to you. your model gave me the clue...

thanks for your idea, but it will not work. it was the modeling strategy firstly i follow. but when i swept along the 3d sketch, the profile and the sketch did not match the correct shape.
