MSC Patran crashes when I delete a surface or when I start to Mesh

(OP)
Hello,

I have installed Patran 2016 from MSC and I am on windows 10.

When I start using the Patran, it crashes every time I want to delete a surface. or even sometimes a curve.

I know many people use Patran, so I am wondering, is this crashing of the software a normal thing? or is there anything that I have to do?

I would really appreciate the comments and suggestions.

Thanks a lot.

RE: MSC Patran crashes when I delete a surface or when I start to Mesh

It looks like the Patran DB that you are working on would have been corrupted.

Try creating a fresh Patran DB and then import your previous(corrupted) DB into this new one.

Usually by doing this the previous DB is repaired.

That happened to me also, is a compatibility problem with windows 10.

Yes mirb3000 is right, i think it is the compatibility issue with windows 10.
