NX9 - Journal help ..... again

NX9 - Journal help ..... again

NX9 - Journal help ..... again

(OP)
Sorry. I suck with Journal code.

I recorded a journal to edit object display, filer by selected layers (1, 18-184, 190-195, 221-229), filter to select Solid bodies, sheet bodies, faceted bodies and components (dont want any curves or drafting notes or anything selected) I clicked on "Select All", and change the line to solid lines with a .35 thickness.

When I open the journal I recorded, it doesnt give any info on the layer filter or type filter. Instead it shows each body and file that was selected. How do you write the code to do an Edit Object Display by those filters that will work on whatever assembly or single detail you open?

RE: NX9 - Journal help ..... again

You have to do your own filtering for stuff like this. I'd suggest iterating through the components and bodies, checking the layer of each. Add each object that meets your criteria to a list and finally change the display options on all those items in the list.
