Delete half of symmetic feature

Delete half of symmetic feature

(OP)
Hello,
I have the following problem.
I've imported a step-file. This part is symmetric. To reduce simulation time I want to split the part along the xz-plane and only keep one half of it (and create a BC for the symmetric property).
I created a partition along the plane, but I can't find out how to delete one of the halfs.
Is this possible and how?
Thanks!

RE: Delete half of symmetic feature

In the Part module you can use an extruded cut to remove material on either side of the symmetry plane.

See the Abaqus CAE User's Guide - 11.24.1 Creating an extruded cut

Thank you!
