I'm running NX 10.0 64 bit and for some reason it will only use 13% of the CPU. Is there any setting to allow it to use more of the CPU?

RE: CPU

How many cores does your system have? If it's more than one, are you looking at the usage per-core or is this reported as a percentage of the entire machine cycles available?

Hi John,
I have 8 cores on my system. Yes I am CPU history is set for one graph per CPU.

Are you coming to IL/WI RUG on October 20?

RE: CPU

No, I retired in January. I only follow the message boards as a hobby winky smile

RE: CPU

You are actually using 100% of 1 core which is all NX is programmed to use, except in certain areas where it can do multithreaded tasks (NC processing, rendering, CAE, etc).
1 core at 100% of an 8 core machine is the 13% you are seeing.
