When exporting NX .dxf files and beginning to remove notes and such...
(OP)
Hello (This is a simple question from a novice
)
I use NX to export .DXF files
-> Then my company uses DraftSight Free to "clean" sheetmetal.DXF files =>remove bending lines, notations and such extra marks that NX leaves.
Do I really have to manually remove "those extra lines" with delete(I'm new and people that have been like 10 years in this company just use manual deleting
) or is there some kind of magic layer trick so I can remove everything extra from the drawing with a simple click or two ?
.DXF goes to CNC-machines and I have to "clean" the sheetmetal .DXFs
I tried clean but it can not remove the annotations or such...

Attached example file....
It should be "cleaned"=Meaning no bend lines or annotations just leaving the outlines.(for sheet metal CNC-machine)
- Now people here are only manually deleting them by using the "red rubber=delete"-function with mouse.

Found this link to "What’s New in DraftSight 2016: New Selection Methods", this should be just the help you need.
Scroll down and watch the video, wait for "selectmatching".
